Our Founder's Story
Where the Vision Was Born
In 2018, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and began chemotherapy. Like so many women, she had always taken pride in her appearance, her hair, especially, was part of how she expressed herself. As the treatments progressed, she began to lose that part of herself. The hair loss wasn’t just physical, it became emotional. I watched my mother retreat into herself, struggling with confidence, depression, and the sense that she no longer recognized the woman in the mirror.
Determined to help, I found a salon that specialized in medical wigs. It wasn’t just the wig that changed her, it was the experience. The care, the privacy, the way the specialist treated her with compassion and dignity… it brought light back into her eyes. That moment stayed with me.
Balancing this venture with my real estate law practice presents unique challenges, but the opportunity to provide comfort and confidence to those undergoing treatment inspires me daily. I envision a welcoming space where my clients can find not only high-quality wigs but also a supportive community that understands their journey. By blending my legal expertise with my passion for helping others, I aim to create a sanctuary that empowers individuals during one of life's toughest battles and beyond, reminding them that beauty and resilience can coexist, even in the face of adversity.
Turning Purpose Into Practice
I named this business Lilia’s Angels in honor of my mother. Her journey, and the transformation she experienced, is the reason this space exists. Lilia’s Angels is not just a place to get a wig. It’s a private, compassionate sanctuary where women and children facing medical hair loss are treated with care, dignity, and understanding.
